Cambridge Holiday Food Hampers – No Registration Required
This year, the Cambridge Food Bank is making it simple for everyone to receive holiday support. Families and individuals can pick up a holiday hamper that includes a turkey roll, ham, or chicken (halal chicken available).
To receive your hamper, just visit the Cambridge Food Bank at 54 Ainslie St. South during our regular hours in December:
- Mondays: 12:00–6:30 pm
- Tuesday–Friday: 9:00–4:30 pm
No registration is needed. Please bring identification and bags to carry your hamper.
Each hamper includes holiday food items to help make your season special.

Cambridge Firefighters Basket Fund
Registration for Basket Fund participants will be held at Kinbridge Community Association (200 Christopher Drive), in the front lounge, from November 5-7.
Registration will be open from 9-3pm until we have reached our capacity of 500 families. The Firefighters Basket fund program is for families of 3 or more only.
Please ensure you bring proof of members in the household (drug card if on OW and ODSP). Low income families must provide proof of income and must be under Low-Income Cutoff”.
Toys
Cambridge Salvation Army
Cambridge Salvation Army provides toys and gifts for children 16 & under (born 2009-2025).
Toys and gifts will be distributed between December 1st & December 19th from 9:30am – 3:00pm to custodial parents/guardians only!
You will schedule your gift appointment when you register, and a confirmation email will be sent once your registration has been completed and received.
Registration for 2025 will be available from November 3rd – 30th.
This year our Registration process will be changing so please read carefully.
Prior to filling out your registration please ensure you have the following available to upload into the form:
- ID for you (custodial parent/guardian)
- ID for each child being registered
- Proof of Address
- Proof of Income (ex. OW, ODSP, pay stub, etc.)
When you have those documents ready you can fill out your registration form on their website:
When you arrive for your appointment, you must bring your ID and a copy of your confirmation email which will have your name and appointment details included.
Toys and gifts can be picked up at 12 Shade Street, Cambridge. The entrance will be at the back of the building and there will be signage directing you to the correct entrance.
